Rustic Luxe Bridal Shower

How lucky was I to be asked to design an elegant, country-inspired dessert table and setting for a very special bride-to-be!?  I loved every aspect from the beautiful linens we chose, to the fun barnwood vases for the antique roses. Working outdoors proved to be a little bit of a challenge, as the weather was a bit unsettled with strong wind gusts and humid temps.  And while the very strong gusts of wind prohibited me from following through on a few ideas we had hoped for, mainly the beautiful hanging paper lanterns lit with market lighting, and placing/standing framed pictures and wish boards on the outer edges of tables as opposed to setting them far back so they wouldnt blow over, it turned out to be a beautiful evening that the guests enjoyed tremendously. Enjoy!

As always, thank you to the wonderfully talented artists out there, who help make these beautiful parties possible!
Madame Butterfly Cakes in Babylon Village, NY for all the amazing cakes and sweets.
Morgann Hill Designs on Etsy for the personalized barnwood vases and paper rose bouquet.
Butterfly Above on Etsy for all the sweet burlap banners.
Lola Loves a Party on Etsy for the personalized wooden utensils.
Main Street Nursery in Huntington, NY for the beautiful floral designs.

  2. What a lovely shower! And I love your blog. Found it while searching for info on Carolyne Roehm's barn sale which unfortunately I never got the memo. Darn it! Love the table cloth you bought. Beautiful.
