Favorite Foyers!

Here are a few of my all-time favorite foyers and other entry ways this week! There are so many to be found on Pinterest that I can't post them all, but these I keep coming to again and again. Enjoy!

Gatsby Styled

I can't wait until The Great Gatsby comes to the theatre May 10! I'm as excited about the wonderful sets and designs as I am the actual portrayals of Gatsby and Daisy.  Being a huge fan of art deco design and of course, the whole notion of the Long Island's Gold Coast that F. Scott Fitzgerald was portraying, what's not to like? In Luhrmann's movie, Daisy's home was based on Old Westbury and Gatsby's was based on Oheka Castle. Local Artist Love

A good friend recently turned me on to local Long Island artist Paul Bachem; and can I tell you how I love every piece of his work?!  I'm a sucker for any artist who has mastered the use of outdoor painting - known as plein air and Paul has truly mastered this technique! What makes Paul's paintings even more special is that they are all local spots we can recognize! Thanks Sybaritic Spaces!
